Day 289

The photo shoot has been great fun. I'm still at the studio, having my picture taken with two Dalmatians. It's interesting being called the "talent" by the photographer and crew. Usually, I'm on the other side of the camera, so this is a new experience for me. I wish my own photo shoots were this professional. I feel like I'm on a busman's holiday. I've had my make-up done by a professional make-up artist and had a wardrobe coordinator pick out what I'll be wearing. The studio itself is huge. I'd love to have a studio like this, but it's pretty risky. You've got to keep a big studio busy every day, or you'll go broke.

The Paypal people couldn't have been nicer. I use Paypal all the time anyway, so doing a testimonial ad for them feels pretty natural. Hey, I use Sony and Apple products too. I love Land Rovers. I even love the Mr. Steamy Dryer Ball. Need a pitchman? I'm your guy. This certainly beats working. I've written ads and done lots of photography for ads, but actually being in the ad is a lot more fun.

It's too bad that I can't stay in San Francisco longer. It's a beautiful city. I'll be flying back to Dallas soon though. Tomorrow is just another work day. Before my Cinderella coach turns back into a pumpkin, I think I'll have another helping of the delicious food on the craft service table and trade business cards with a bunch of people I'd love to work with again.

This is the first time I've used the iPad to post. It works, but it is definitely slower than I prefer. I still can't type very fast using the touch screen. A real keyboard feels much more natural. This is certainly easier than using the iPhone to post though. I can't imagine writing anything very long using the iPhone.

I can't wait to see the finished ads. I think they're going to look great.
