Day 315

Such a pretty day today. Pretty uneventful too. I think I've mastered the art of giving Dash his weekly antigen injections. For the second week in a row I was able give the shot without my nervous about everything dog even noticing. The nurses keep hinting that I ought to learn how to express Dash's anal glands too, but I'd just as soon have someone else continue to do that smelly task.

When we got home from the vet, I tried to show a friend how to prepare files to go to the printer. I don't think I've mastered the art of giving clear instructions. After five or six back and forth e-mails, I still don't think he ended up doing what I told him to do.

Actually, nobody does what I tell them to do. Two weeks ago I told a client over and over again to make sure that the proposed navigation buttons on his new website were exactly the way he wanted before I started coding the HTML. "Sure, it's perfect, go ahead." Well, wouldn't you know, one day after I completely finished the site's navigation, I get an e-mail with a request to add an additional navigation button. I shouldn't complain though. Doing things over is what keeps me busy.

On my way to the post office this afternoon, I ended up behind a pickup truck that obviously belonged to a hunting enthusiast. Along with decals of mallard ducks plastered all over his back window, there was a bumper sticker that said "I'm a Quack addict." I must me a simple minded person, because this made me laugh.
