After we got home and I finished my breakfast, I launched the Time Tech website for my watchmaker client. It seemed to take an exceptionally long time to finish this rather simple site, but then everything about watches takes a long time. I've taken some watches in for repairs and not gotten them back again until a year later. Watchmaking is a slow, meticulous craft. The skill is rapidly becoming a lost art in an age where everybody expects everything overnight. I'm seldom in a hurry though, so it doesn't bother me to spend six or eight months having a watch repaired. A year is nothing. I've had one of my cars sitting in my mechanic's garage for over five years now.
Dash had an upset stomach and threw up in the middle of the night again. I wake up immediately at the sound of puking, but Janet and Dot always sleep soundly through these episodes. I cleaned up the mess and in the morning, Dash and I were the only ones who knew what had happened. I envy sound sleepers. I've been a light sleeper as long as I can remember. I do have vivid dreams though.
