That was painful enough that I've been highly motivated to keep them up and add to the reps to prevent that from happening again.

Dot has wonderful fashion sense!Sharkbyteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10139935335209860357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606077175041733164.post-10553618890633450822011-10-23T14:25:36.276-05:002011-10-23T14:25:36.276-05:00My comment is kind of in regards to both of your l...My comment is kind of in regards to both of your latest posts. My 22 year old son just took his car to the dealer for the first time on his own. When I say on his own I mean, it was out of warranty and I wasn't paying this time. He got a taste of "replace instead of fix". In my day, things could be fixed and rebuilt and just a small part ordered to make things work again. These days, the car manufacturers don't want you dilly farting (that is a technical tern btw!!) with anything so you are forced to take it to a dealer or mechanic to have half the car replaced just to fix one connection that is bad.
Well, the kiddo outsmarted them. They told him his connection from the fuse box to the computer terminal had become loose and "wiggled" out. They wanted to replace the whole fuse box for $376.00. They made the mistake of telling him they thought it had been slowly wiggling out for the last 4 1/2 years he owned the car. So, instead of letting them order the part, he told them to plug it back in and he would see them in another 4 1/2 years. I raised that one right!!!
Love your blog btw!!!Anniehttp://www.thesavvytourist.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3606077175041733164.post-15187459115527488672011-10-22T20:14:39.740-05:002011-10-22T20:14:39.740-05:00I miss the era when things could be fixed.I miss the era when things could be fixed.Eyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434692684754010063noreply@blogger.com
